Šaljić calls for reaction from rector and faculties: Can Silajdžić still be a professor at UNSA?

(Patria) - Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo and member of NIP, Sabina Silajdžić, attracted a lot of attention with a Facebook status.

SBiH MP in the KS Assembly, Jasmin Šaljić, also reacted.

"Even the main ideologues of the Chetnik Ravna Gora movement, Stevan Moljević and Dragiša Vasić, would envy her for this Chetnik propaganda, even with a red star on her forehead. Fikret Abdić also thought like this," wrote Šaljić.

As an MP in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, he called on the rector of the University of Sarajevo and the dean of the Faculty of Economics, the Steering Board of the Senate, student organizations, the Ministry of Education, and the Government of Sarajevo Canton to react, to make a statement, to distance themselves from the professor's statements, and to thank her for her past cooperation.

"An associate professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, one Sabina Silajdžić, on her Facebook profile from two days ago, besides equating the unconstitutional January 9th with March 1st, states in her post that there was no aggression against our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but rather a religious and civil war was waged here.

Anyone who publishes this, even without any knowledge, title, position, or public job, deserves public and all other condemnation. But when it is published by a professor at the University of Sarajevo who teaches our children and, incidentally, holds a doctorate in economics and, incidentally, survived the siege of Sarajevo, it is terrible. There are several unclear things here.

First, did the professor skip her therapy, because how else can one explain this, given all the rulings of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, the committed genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica, the siege of Sarajevo and other cities, etc.? Second, why is no one from the University and the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo speaking out to distance themselves from this scandalous statement, or perhaps they think the same way?

Third, why is no one from the NiP political party speaking out about this statement and saying whether the professor is a member of NiP or not. Is she in charge of some economic platform in the party or not, and simply distance themselves. If she is a member, expel her because citizens are following and commenting on this, or do they think the same way?

Fourth, the professor wears a red star on her head one day and is in a mosque with her hands turned towards the Lord of all worlds the next. A red star and a mosque do not go together, a red star and a church do not go together, everyone from the region and the former Yugoslavia knows this. It seems that the professor did skip her therapy after all," states Šaljić.
