Šaljić asks the trio: Has Dodik changed, or did you not see well from the armchairs that Vojin dragged you into the coalition for?

For the first time in the last 80 years, some level of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina has dared to ban the celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this case, such a decision was made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the entity of the RS.

This was stated in a press release by Jasmin Šaljić, a representative of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton.

“In addition to banning the celebration in Banja Luka, they did the same in Mrkonjić Grad. That this is a coordinated action by the trio's coalition partners from the entity of the RS is also evident from the dismissal of Hamdija Fejzić in Srebrenica, because he participated in the preparation of the celebration of this important state holiday. The legitimate question arises on what principles this coalition was established and whether this is also part of the agreement based on those principles, which the coalition partners, especially 'our' trio members, are full of,” Šaljić points out.

He adds that “the proposal of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina to try to form a government at the state level with the opposition was rejected.”

“They rejected it because they were personally dragged into this coalition by Vojin Mijatović, who in the past elections secured votes from Bosniaks in the RS and ensured Dodik a fourth delegate. Some will say that this is also the position and opposition in the entity of Republika Srpska. I note that nothing like this has ever happened before, and you will admit that the opposition is not going down this path the way the SNSD is,” Šaljić emphasizes.

He concludes: "We will see God knows what else with this armchair coalition, and it would not surprise me if these retrograde forces use this moment, this inexperience of our so-called Sarajevo trio and the ignorance that has traces of betrayal, and move towards open independence and division of the country, and we all know, not to mention where that leads. Trio members, has Dodik changed, or did you not see well from those red armchairs that have blurred your vision?"
