Salihović: I demand the proceedings be conducted publicly to reveal the setup and fabrication

Suspended Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office Goran Salihović addressed the public after the suspension decision, reports the Patria agency.

Dear citizens,

After the decision of the disciplinary commission, which states in its decision that it did not assess the evidence or any relevant facts, I want to say that I will appeal the decision.

I am telling the citizens and the public that I am ready for any proceedings before the UDT, because I am sure of the correctness and legality of my decisions, and I demand that the proceedings be conducted completely publicly, to reveal the entire setup and fabrication.

It is important to emphasize that I was not given the opportunity to comment on the allegations from the proposal for removal, nor was this right granted to me, nor access to the evidence, which the disciplinary commission obviously did not assess either, as it states in its decision.

I want to emphasize that I will use all available legal means to uncover the truth.

In all of this, I, as Goran Salihović or the Chief Prosecutor, am not important; it is about protecting the rule of law and preventing a judicial-state coup, Salihović states.
