(Patria) - Salem Marić from SDA is the new president of the City Council of Mostar. His deputies are Ivan Zelenika and Velibor Milivojević.
"I am one of them. First among equals," Marić said after the vote during which as many as ten councilors abstained.
"I will not misuse this podium to say anything ugly, but there will be opportunities for that," he said.
Arman Zalihić, an SDP councilor, only formally registered for the position of Council President for the purpose of appealing to the court regarding the discrimination of Others.
