The ambassadors of PIC member countries have arrived at the session, and besides the current political situation, the agenda also includes the election of a new High Representative.

Portal Istraga.ba reports that due to turmoil within the PIC, there is a high probability that the High Representative will not be elected today or tomorrow.

A part of the PIC members (EU member states) proposes that Christian Schmidt remain at the head of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) until the end of the month.

The United States of America continues to insist on the appointment of Italian diplomat Antonio Zanardi Landi.

Let us recall, Schmidt submitted his resignation on May 11, but remains in office until the election of his successor.
