From 600 to 800 BAM: SDA seeks annulment of decision to increase separation allowance

SDA strongly condemns yesterday's decision of the Administrative Committee of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH to increase separation allowances. Thus, the allowance for delegates was increased from 600 to 800 BAM, Patria reports.

It applies to professional delegates who reside more than 70 kilometers from the seat of the Parliament in Sarajevo, and it is assessed that a larger number of delegates will receive it, although many of them only come to Sarajevo when sessions are held, and do not live there. 

- In the current economic and social circumstances in society, such a decision to increase the allowance for delegates is shameful. We oblige delegates from SDA to initiate a procedure to annul this unreasonable decision. At the same time, we demand from the leadership of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH to initiate a procedure to reduce the same allowance in the House of Representatives, which they should have done eight years ago in accordance with the Law on Savings.
