Several types of carbonated soft drinks produced in Austria being withdrawn from the BiH market

(Patria) - The Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been notified via the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (EU RASFF) that non-alcoholic beverages originating from Austria have been delivered to the BiH market, for which withdrawal and recall from the markets of several countries is underway due to suspected metal fragments.

The products in question are: Coca-Cola (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Zero Lemon, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Zero Caffeine, Coca-Cola Light), Fanta (Fanta Orange, Fanta Orange Zero, Fanta Lemon Zero, Fanta Exotic Zero), Sprite (Sprite, Sprite Zero) and MezzoMix. The packaging is plastic, and the volume is 0.5 liters.

"Shipment/lot products with the 'best before' date between 04.02.2025 and 12.04.2025 and the code 'WP' below the printed date. The manufacturer is Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH, Clemens-Holzmeister-Straße 6, 1100 Vienna, Austria. The distributor of the product is Metro Cash & Carry Österreich GmbH, Metro Platz 1, 2331 Vösendorf, Austria. Importers in BiH: COSMO Celic d.o.o., Kralja Tomislava Entrance A-2b.b., Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje and Pam Consulting d.o.o., Obradovića 1, Banja Luka," stated the Food Safety Agency of BiH.

All available information about the product, in accordance with applicable regulations, has been forwarded for further action to the relevant inspection authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have been requested to take measures and report back to the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
