A demonstration drill by members of the Police Support Unit and members of the Public Order and Peace Prevention Unit of the ZDK was held today in the area of the old barracks in Nemila, writes the Patria News Agency.
The condition for the work of these units is technical equipment, and certain equipment was procured during the previous year, which they also used today.
These units are awaiting the continuation of the Premier League of BiH, securing international matches during qualifications, and many gatherings held in the ZDK area. These are all serious tasks that require serious preparation, and today the Special Unit showed that it is ready for them. In addition to technical equipment, the ZDK police are short of 230 police officers.
Semir Šut, police commissioner of the ZDK Ministry of Interior, along with his associates, assessed this drill as very successful.
- The presentation of today's drill is the result of continuous work on training and equipping. In all cases of public order and peace disturbances that may occur in this area, these two units will react first. We can freely say that we have a respectable team, equipped and trained, with whom continuous theoretical and practical work is being done - stated Senaid Hasić, commander of the ZDK Ministry of Interior Support Unit.
