Ružnić buries NES in Krajina, SDP could lead a new government

(Patria) - The government in USK should fall. Publicly released footage of Prime Minister Mustafa Ružnić, from which it can be concluded that he is ready to completely derogate the Cantonal Assembly by introducing a state of emergency, should speed things up. Before that, it was necessary to exert pressure through trade unions to adopt the budget and all necessary financial documents, which in practice is more difficult than expected.

- We agreed to unblock the operations of the Health Insurance Fund, and we are currently discussing other matters at the collegium. The Prime Minister should resign after the released footage. We are in contact with the headquarters in Sarajevo to determine the final position of the SDP regarding the functioning of the government in USK, Razim Halkić, President of the USK Assembly, told Patria.

Patria learns from well-informed sources that the SDP will not support Ružnić remaining in the prime ministerial position. The controversial footage has only opened Pandora's box, in which the executive power in USK has long placed itself above the legislative. In the past years, a billion marks of the budget have been spent, and the Assembly has never discussed the expenditure.

- I put all the financial reports on the session, but the Prime Minister withdrew them. I can't do anything about it, Halkić told us.

It seems that he can after all, four SDP deputies should not be part of such a majority. The SDP is ready to provide a candidate for the new government. One, at least for now, more uncertain option is that NES is again part of that government, and the other is that a minority government is formed, supported by SDA without its participation.

- Talks with our partners are ongoing, I have no information that the SDP has such a position, Nermin Ogrešević, president of NES, told us.

When asked to comment on the controversial footage, the answer was that he thought we called him because of serious matters. The president of the NES club in the USK Assembly, Agan Bunić, still believes that things will go according to NES.

- We will see if the deputies will be so persistent in blocking the adoption of the budget, or the decision on temporary financing, when they do not receive their salaries. We will see what happens when the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other budget users rebel, Bunić pointed out.

For him, what was said in the recording is less important than who illegally recorded the prime minister and released the recording to the public.

- That is a criminal offense and someone should be held accountable for it. As far as I know, it is a recording from last year, but the entire recording should be released so we can see the context. Perhaps it was just a friendly exchange of opinions, a joke, but the realization that someone is monitoring and recording the prime minister is more dangerous, Bunić emphasized.

Indirectly through social networks, the president of the NIP organization, Halil Bajramović, was accused. Bajramović tells Patria that he has nothing to do with the recording and that he will sue Ružnić for slander.

- If it is ever proven who published the recording, I will reward him well because he is a greater patriot than Ružnić. It seems that they miscalculated how far they could go with buying deputies to satisfy ever-increasing party appetites. We lost deputies because of that, and until then, we pointed out the need to dismiss the government. What will happen in Krajina in the end is always uncertain, but one thing is for sure, it cannot happen without the SDP at the moment," said Bajramović.
