Rusmir Šišić dismissed from the position of police commissioner of the ZDK Ministry of Interior

(Patria) - After the ZDK Government adopted on August 3 the information regarding the ruling of the Zenica Municipal Court, and the conclusion allowing the ZDK Ministry of Interior Commissioner Rusmir Šišić to perform the duties of police commissioner until the next court decision, the Zenica Municipal Court issued a ruling on September 1 revoking the interim measure of protection.

This removed legal obstacles to the implementation of the ZDK Government's decision of July 12 on Šišić's dismissal from the position of police commissioner and the revocation of the rank of general inspector.

The position of police commissioner has been taken over as of today by the previously appointed acting police commissioner Vahidin Topalović, the ZDK Government announced.

We recall that the ZDK Government at its session on July 12 this year dismissed Rusmir Šišić from the position of police commissioner, but the Zenica Municipal Court on July 19 ordered an interim measure of protection, ordering that Šišić be reinstated to his work duties and position of police commissioner, and that his rank of general inspector be restored.
