Russian student Sattler and a call for dialogue on things that are not up for negotiation!

Perhaps the biggest problem in BiH is the mentality that does not entail compromise, Johann Sattler, head of the EU delegation and special representative in BiH, pointed out last night on FTV!

When it comes to EU sanctions, he said there is still time to reach a compromise.

„I call on everyone to return to the institutions, to talk, to find solutions. This is not something that is impossible to resolve. But I must say that we do not have unlimited time at our disposal, so there must be a stronger sense of urgency in terms of finding a solution. Of course, there is always the possibility of sanctions. You have a good toolbox in which you have both carrots and sticks, and as far as the EU is concerned, we have both and they can always be activated. But that is a last resort, and also a measure if a compromise cannot be reached,“ Sattler told us.

His appearance on the FTV show differed from the appearance of the Russian ambassador to BiH, Kalabukhov, only in the directness of conveying messages, as the latter very precisely stated that he 'does not see any problem in Dodik's idea of an independent RS within BiH', which, as he pointed out, is a matter for politicians, democratic decisions, and that Russia will support it if its realisation comes about through dialogue.
Both, therefore, call for dialogue and compromise. Drawing parallels between these appearances, it is clear to determine which policy both belong to and what they are serving us. 

Translated into a language everyone understands, the above would read – AGREE ON THE CONCEPT OF A COMPOSITE STATE. 

And it is absolutely clear that there is no agreement or negotiation on this, but Sattler leaves room for further tormenting of Milorad Dodik's Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And Johann Sattler, due to whose appearances the European Union seems like a poorly tuned orchestra, because individual countries deeply follow a policy of division, could have understood the Russian school already in his student days.

Namely, he studied political science and Slavic studies at universities in Innsbruck, Prague, and Moscow. He has been actively working in the diplomatic service of the Republic of Austria since 1996, and it is not difficult to see that he belongs to the pleiad of those under Russian influence in the Balkans.

Miroslav Lajčák, Aleksandar Vučić, Milorad Dodik, Dragan Čović, Janez Janša, Zoran Milanović, Viktor Orbán, and ultimately Erdogan, strongly, some publicly some secretly, strive with the help of Russia and China to expand the circle and their influence at the expense of the United States and the European Union.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently a hostage and victim of such actions. 

Because so far Sattler has done nothing to side with the law, legal regulations, and the constitution of this country. He proposes things that are not open to discussion or compromise instead of protecting the laws, and thus Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nor could the previous special representative, Lars Gunnar Wigemark, boast of particular success in BiH, which is primarily a result of his misunderstanding of the real causes of the political crisis in BiH and his indulgence towards separatist-minded actors on the BiH political scene. 

Wigemark sent messages of peace from the vineyards with Čović, and ended his mandate unsuccessfully, as an individual who could not or did not want to call things by their real name.

Sattler replaced him and in his first appearance fired off that Dragan Čović is one of the strongest advocates and champions of European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In fact, the actions of European Union diplomats in Bosnia and Herzegovina for over a decade have been a mix of foolishness and lies, behind which various levels of interest are hidden. They are now available to the public and clearly recognisable. These are the private interests of bad diplomats, or else, the higher interests of European bureaucrats.

We can read this from the wrong interpretations of things in BiH, because those from whom democratisation of our political scene is expected, above all, as well as full promotion of our European path, advocate dialogue on things about which dialogue cannot be had!

Without a vision for solving the tasks entrusted to them, along with inevitable saluting to responsible BiH politicians, European representatives seemed lost and powerless to do anything. However, what was their success was maintaining Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik on the political scene!
