Russian extremist Pozdnyakov threatens to 'blow up' TQ Plaza in Budva, resignations demanded

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - If media reports that Vladislav Pozdnyakov threatened to blow up TQ Plaza in Budva prove true, resignations should be demanded without delay from the entire leadership of security structures in Montenegro, from security services coordinator Dritan Abazović, Minister Sergej Sekulović, Police Director Zoran Brđanin and ANB chief Dejan Vukšić, writes analyst Ljubomir Filipović in a commentary for CDM today.

The stay of the Russian extremist in Montenegro was not important news for anyone, nor did any security service react because they probably knew nothing about it, until Canadian journalist Michael Colborne, as part of his monitoring of this extremist, discovered that the man was in Podgorica.

"After CdM's reporting on this, and the interview I did with Colborne, after which Aleksandar Saša Zeković filed a criminal complaint, the police responded that Pozdnyakov had left Montenegro back in early February. However, posts on his Telegram channels indicate that the man stayed in Montenegro even after early February, and after I received information from several sources that the police knew Pozdnyakov was in Montenegro, brought him in and advised him to leave the country, the question arises whether someone, and who, enabled Pozdnyakov's illegal stay, who hosted him, and who is now trying to cover it all up. The public of Montenegro has the right to know the answers to these questions," Filipović states and adds: 

This is a huge security scandal, and if the public does not soon get answers to this, the question arises how safe it is to live and work in a country with such a porous security sector.
