Russian authorities demand Navalny's medical records from Germany

(Patria) – The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to the German authorities to share information about the health condition of Alexei Navalny, following suspicions of poisoning of the leading figure of the Russian opposition.

In addition to accusations that the official Berlin is slowing down the process, the ministry's statement states that withholding information about Navalny's health condition prevents Russian law enforcement agencies from determining the true cause of his collapse during the flight.

Let us recall, Navalny felt ill on the plane after drinking a cup of tea, which is claimed to have been poisoned, before the flight itself. He was initially treated in Russian medical institutions, after which, at the insistence of his family and friends, he was transferred to Germany for treatment.
