Russian television network "Russia Today" published a report ahead of the celebration of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day, claiming that Croats in BiH are seeking autonomy, stating that this leads to further dissolution of the state, which is already divided by Dayton.
Just a few days ago, opposition parties in the Croatian Parliament also called for the restructuring of BiH and the establishment of a third entity with a Croat majority.
The television network controlled by official Moscow, in its report in English, cites statements by Petar Milić, a member of the Croatian Party of Rights, and Leo Pločkinić, leader of the organization "Croatia Libertas," which has long advocated for a third entity in BiH. However, the Russian television report goes a step further, stating that a future state is being planned at the "alternative Croatian government" table!
Milić and Pločkinić claim in their statements that Croats in BiH do not have their own representatives in state authorities and are forced to seek autonomy.
- Croatian nationalists are now seeking autonomy - the report states, citing Mostar as an example of divisions and claiming that Croats only enter the Bosniak part of the city under police escort.
