After Schmidt presented his report on the situation in our country, in which he stated, among other things, that the situation regarding respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement in BiH is worse than ever, Nebenzya returned to the hall.

In his address, he stated that the international community wants to change the internal architecture of the country and create a unitary state.

Nebenzya called the attempts to arrest the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who was sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban from politics by the BiH Court in late February for non-compliance with the High Representative's decisions, a provocation.

He warned that the use of EUFOR forces for a potential arrest in the country would lead to chaos.

China's representative to the UN, Geng Shuang, called on all parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina to resolve their differences through dialogue.

He called on the international community not to interfere in the internal affairs of BiH and not to call for unilateral sanctions.

- Given that it is a sovereign state, the internal issues of BiH must be resolved independently by its peoples - Shuang stated, among other things.

Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, also addressed the council, warning that Milorad Dodik is the biggest threat to the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

- His secessionist moves, the adoption of unconstitutional laws, and threats to adopt an anti-Dayton Constitution directly threaten the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of BiH - Pierce stated.

She expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will one day be able to be removed from the UN Security Council's agenda and become a full member of the EU.

She stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina needs pluralistic politics, which is not a threat to Republika Srpska or the Federation of BiH - there is no threat from European integration or a Euro-Atlantic future.
