The Independent Union of Miners of the Federation of BiH is organizing an extraordinary session of the Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of Coal Mines "Kreka" in Tuzla, regarding the announcement of a strike for Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
The session will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017, starting at 15:00 in the administration building of Coal Mines "Kreka" in Tuzla.
The topic of the extraordinary session is the analysis of the realization of the demands of the Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of Coal Mines "Kreka" in Tuzla, concerning the payment of personal income and other benefits for August 2017 in accordance with the Collective Agreement on the Rights and Obligations of Employers and Workers in the Mining Sector in FBiH.
In addition to the members of the Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of Coal Mines "Kreka" in Tuzla, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, as well as the director and management members of Coal Mines "Kreka" in Tuzla, have been invited to the session.
The President of the Kreka Tuzla Coal Mine Union, Zuhdija Tokić, says that the newly emerged situation regarding salary payments is just the last straw. He points out that miners have been facing numerous problems for some time.
