Miners in FBiH get collective agreement

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Collective Agreement for the mining sector in FBiH will be signed today in Sarajevo.

On behalf of the FBiH Government, the agreement will be signed by the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić, and on behalf of the representative trade unions by the president of the Independent Trade Union of Mine Workers in FBiH Sinan Husić and the president of the Independent Trade Union of Miners in FBiH Zijad Lačić.

The FBiH Government, at its 210th session held on February 20, adopted the Decision on giving consent to the signing of the collective agreement on the rights and obligations of employers and workers in the mining sector in FBiH.

This agreement regulates the rights and obligations of employers and around 11,000 workers employed in the mining sector in FBiH.

This is the third agreement that the Federal Government has signed with representative trade unions from the mining sector during this mandate.
