Third shift miners of RMU Zenica come out, pit manager Fahrudin Kokić dismissed

Around 12:33, the third shift miners began leaving the mine, most of their demands have been met, and pit manager Fahrudin Kokić has been dismissed.

The third shift miners, about 40 of them from the Old Pit of the Brown Coal Mine Zenica, refused to leave the mine, while the first shift miners are still outside, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria. Director Esad Čivić went down into the mine.

Union representatives also went down into the pit, but the miners refuse to come out until they receive guarantees about the dismissal of the management. The miners are dissatisfied with the technical capacities that also affect production.

They are demanding the resignations of technical director Munir Halilović and pit manager Fahrudin Kokić.
