Miners confirmed: Protest in Sarajevo on November 23

(Patria) - Representatives of the Independent Union of Mine Workers in the Federation of BiH confirmed at today's session that a protest will be held on November 23 this year in Sarajevo. 

As they stated, they had previously warned the authorities not to apply acts that are not in accordance with the branch collective agreement and that were not done in consultation with the Union and the Employees' Council. 

They say they received no response. 

Instead, representatives of the Independent Union stated, the Rulebook on Work and the Rulebook on Work Performance appeared on the notice boards. The Tuzla Union points out that this means that a miner and an excavator operator, instead of the current basic salary of 850 KM, will have 570 KM.
