According to the latest information reported by a reporter for the Patria News Agency, miners are refusing to descend into the pit until all their demands are met.

Miners at the Zenica Coal Mine, Stara Jama, spent a sleepless night at the mine entrance, demanding that the management meet several of their requests, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Miners from the third and first shifts are protesting the delay in the payment of warm meals and holiday bonuses. Due to this, the miners of the third shift refused to work and want to achieve their demands in this way.

Technical Director Munir Halilović told the miners that the funds had been transferred, but the miners do not believe him.

As they say, they have had enough of lies and have been silent about the problems since February.

- It was Eid, the children started school, and I don't have a single mark to give my child. I received a message that my bank had deducted the installment, and when I receive a message that the money has been transferred to my account, I will continue to work - stated miner Amir Arnaut, which is also the message of all miners.

Miners from the second shift at the Raspotočje mine have also decided to support their colleagues from Stara Jama and go on strike, refusing to descend into the pit, reports the Patria News Agency reporter. They emphasize that they are unanimous in the demands of their colleagues who have been on strike since this morning, but they also point out that there are many other problems in their mine that were promised to be resolved after the mining accident, but everything remained a promise.

- Of course, we support our colleagues and demand the payment of holiday bonuses, but we are also troubled by many other problems here. I want to emphasize that we are ready to stay here all night, or until the management adopts and implements our demands - said Jasmin Hanjalić, an electrician at the Raspotočje mine.

The president of the RMU Raspotočje Union, Džemo Šalja, has gone to a meeting with the mine management where the miners' demands will be discussed.
