Rubio with Austrian Foreign Minister: US Committed to Stability in BiH

(Patria) - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke by phone today with Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger.

This was confirmed by State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce, who said that Rubio emphasized the continued US commitment to democratic values and security in Europe.



"He expressed gratitude for Austrian investments in the US, and both leaders highlighted opportunities for further expansion of direct economic investments, cooperation on dual-use industrial products, as well as the need for European countries to increase defense spending.

In addition, the Secretary emphasized our commitment to stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the need to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine," Bruce stated.
