RTV FBiH: We distance ourselves from the problem, BHRT equipment failed before FTV's Dnevnik 2 broadcast

(Patria) - RTV FBiH today issued a public statement clarifying why there was a delay in the broadcast of Dnevnik 2 on FTV on Sunday, October 5.

"Due to the delay of FTV's Dnevnik 2 on Sunday, October 5, which started at 8:05 PM instead of 7:30 PM due to technical problems, we are obliged to provide clarification to the public. Namely, RTVFBiH is legally compelled to rely on BHRT's technical capacities, which is also the case with the equipment that failed before the start of Dnevnik 2.

We remind you that this is not the first time that Dnevnik 2 has been delayed due to technical problems, as a similar situation occurred twice in previous years.

RTVFBiH fully distances itself from problems that occur due to technical delays and deficiencies over which it has no control.

We apologize once again to the public and viewers for the delay of our central news program.

We call on the competent founders to react and enable the normal operation of the entire Public RTV system in BiH. This is the only solution to the issue of outdated and problematic equipment and the prevention of future problems," stated RTV FBiH.
