RTRS: Harsh winter hits municipalities in the Federation with a Serb majority population

BiH, (Patria) – A journalist on the Radio Television of Republika Srpska (RTRS) reported that the „situation is difficult in municipalities with a Serb majority population in the Livno Canton“, and that „returnees in Lušci Palanka /a place near Sanski Most/ also faced a harsh winter, where roads are impassable.“

The report was aired on Dnevnik 2 on RTRS on Monday evening.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has been hit by a cold wave in the past few days, with snow exceeding one meter in some areas. RTRS reports on how the bad weather is affecting Serb residents living in the Federation of BiH.

Media experts often warn about the war rhetoric of RTRS, which is under strong influence from the president of this BiH entity, Milorad Dodik, and the SNSD.

The Brčko District Court recently ruled that RTRS must pay six thousand KM to the state Parliament of BiH representative Mladen Bosić, with statutory default interest from August 16, 2017, due to broadcasting a false news story about Bosić.

On May 13, 2016, RTRS reported that Soros financed opposition leaders in the RS, including then SDS president Mladen Bosić. The court established that this news was false, writes Patria.
