RS to amend the Law on Holidays, but the referendum will be held

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, after the session of the Collegium where the information regarding the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, concerning the holiday and celebration of January 9th - the Day of Republika Srpska, was considered, stated that "the Collegium notes that the procedure for implementing the Constitutional Court's decision on January 9th is underway," writes Patria.

The National Assembly of Republika Srpska has requested the Government of RS to submit amendments and supplements to the Law on Holidays of RS to the parliamentary procedure in accordance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

It was clarified that the Collegium did not request a session on holding the referendum, which means the referendum will be held on Sunday as planned.
