RS tests four times less, and has more deaths from coronavirus

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 1,307 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 15 people have died.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 2,507 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 949 are positive for SARS-CoV-2 (KCUS did not provide data for the previous 24 hours).

New cases have been registered in all cantons/zupanjas in the Federation of BiH, except for Una-Sana Canton.

A total of 1,102,117 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 205,218 people.

In the past 24 hours, 4 deaths have been reported in the Federation of BiH, in Zenica-Doboj Canton and Sarajevo Canton, while one death has been reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,669.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 661 laboratory samples have been tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 257 people.

In the last 24 hours, eight deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska. These are five men and three women, of middle and older age.

So far, 99,479 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 5,633 people have died who tested positive for the coronavirus. A total of 386,746 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 528, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 212, and in other hospitals 316. 50 people are on ventilators (36 at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, 14 in other hospitals).

Today, 101 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Brcko District of BiH. Three people have died.
