(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Justice, adopted today a Decision on extending the deadline for implementing strategic goal 1.2 of the Revised National Strategy for War Crimes Cases until the end of 2025.
This will extend by two years the implementation of strategic goal I of the Revised National Strategy for War Crimes Cases, which reads: "process the most complex and highest priority war crimes cases before the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and other cases before the judicial bodies of the entities and Brčko District of BiH."
The Council of Ministers of BiH previously adopted information stating that the current pace of resolving war crimes cases and the number of remaining unresolved war crimes cases before the judiciary of BiH indicate the impossibility of resolving them within the previously set deadline by the end of 2023.
