Birth certificate in Banja Luka costs five KM

According to the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on City Administrative Fees, adopted at the session of the Banja Luka City Assembly held on February 17, the fee for extracts from the registry books will henceforth be five KM, reports the Patria News Agency.

Fees, as before, will not be charged for registration and entries in the registry books.

The Department for General Administration emphasizes that the fee for issuing extracts from the registry books in Banja Luka, amounting to two KM, has not changed since 2001, while in other municipalities, for the same administrative action, it is generally higher, and in some places it amounts to the legal limit of 10 KM.

According to the adopted Decision on Amendments to the current Decision, the amount of this fee has been equalized with the fees in surrounding cities and municipalities, such as: Bijeljina, Doboj, Prijedor, Teslić, etc.
