Robinson: International Community Remains Committed to BiH and its Citizens

The international community remains committed to helping Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens recover from the conflict, and "we will work on that until that goal is achieved," said the First Deputy High Representative David Robinson, addressing the ceremony marking the 17th anniversary of the helicopter crash at Prokoško Jezero, in which 12 members of the OHR and UN perished, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Stating that this commemoration is one of the first official events in which he is participating as the First Deputy High Representative, Ambassador Robinson said that "when we remember the sacrifice of our colleagues, we remember how serious they were in the intention that brought them to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the lasting value of what they were trying to achieve. Today, in 2014, we have the same goal. We remember them in the most meaningful way possible – by renewing our commitment aimed at achieving the noble goal they worked on at the time of their death, a goal that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina strive for."
