Famous American actor Robert De Niro left Sarajevo in the afternoon hours after arriving in the Bosnian capital yesterday as a special guest of the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival.
Last night, he walked the red carpet in front of the National Theatre and then received the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo for lifetime achievement.
- I will keep the Heart of Sarajevo and remember Sarajevo with pleasure because there are not many cities in the world that were brave and showed heart when it was most needed in the most difficult moments - said Robert De Niro.
His arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina attracted great media attention in BiH and the world, and De Niro used his time in Sarajevo to visit the city's historical landmarks.
The visit to Sarajevo by one of the greatest actors of today is confirmation of the reputation of the SFF as one of the most significant events of this type in Europe.
