River Sava shows rising trend, Bosna and Jala in Tuzla and Zenica stagnate

Rainfall that has affected Bosnia and Herzegovina since yesterday has caused river levels to rise, overflowing their banks and causing significant damage, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria. According to measurements by the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute at 1:20 PM, the level of the Una River in Bihać was 45 cm with a decreasing trend. The Sana in Sanski Most reached a level of 207 cm with a rising trend.

The Bosna River in Reljevo and Zenica reached levels of 146 and 195 cm respectively. In Reljevo it is decreasing, while in Zenica it is stagnating. The level of the Jala River, which caused flooding of buildings and the emergence of new landslides that have not been remedied even after the May floods, stood at 195 cm at 1:00 PM today and is stagnating.

According to measurements by the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute, the level of the Bosna River in Doboj is 400 cm and has a rising trend above the regular flood defense level. The Vrbas in Delibašino Selo is at 476 cm with a rising trend above the emergency flood defense level. The Sava River, which threatens the Posavina Canton, has reached heights of 128 cm, 288 cm and 437 cm at three measuring points with a rising trend, Patria reports.
