The Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has announced a public competition for the graphic design of a symbol and logo, reports the Patria News Agency.
The purpose of the competition is to obtain a quality, communicative, and professionally designed symbol and logo of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of creating a complete visual identity. The symbol and logo must be suitable for application on all modern means of business and visual communication and fully meet the requirements of the profession in order to be a quality basis for the creation of a graphic standards manual.
The symbol and logo must be fully harmonized with the following General Provisions of the Constitution of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina:
- The Islamic Community has its symbol and flag (Article 20.)
- The symbol of the Islamic Community consists of a crescent moon, open to the right, and a five-pointed star in the center of the crescent moon. (Article 21.)
- The flag of the Islamic Community is green with a white crescent moon and a white five-pointed star in the center of the open part of the crescent moon, facing away from the flagpole. The length of the flag is twice its width. (Article 22.)
