Fishermen also find the body of Patrick's mother Ivana

The body of Ivana Fogadić has been found in the lake of the Dubrava hydroelectric power plant's drainage canal. The Međimurje Police Department reported that fishermen spotted the body around 2 p.m. in the Struge area, on the southern, Varaždin side of the lake. They also note that the investigation is still ongoing and that it is presumed to be the 29-year-old Ivana Fogadić, who has been missing since Monday, reports the Patria news agency.

The car was pulled from the lake around 9 a.m., but Ivana Fogadić's body was not inside it. Ivana's documents were found in the car, as well as documents of her son Patrick, whose body was found yesterday.

The vehicle's front windshield was shattered, while the side window was lowered, which allowed the car to fill with water more quickly and sink. Police sources indicate that the damage to the car was caused by the force of the impact with the water. It is therefore presumed that Ivana was driving very fast before she drove into the canal.
