Exhibition and humanitarian match of Sarajevo and Željezničar veterans in memory of Dženan Uščuplić

(Patria) - Veterans of the eternal Sarajevo rivals FK Sarajevo and FK Željezničar will play a match on June 8 at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium, under the slogan “Eternal rivals, eternal humanitarians”.

The match will have a humanitarian character and will be played in memory of the late Dženan Uščuplić, who lost his life after being struck by lightning.

Dženan Uščuplić was a ‘soldier’ of FK Sarajevo, and at the beginning of his career he also played in the jersey of the Blues from Grbavica.

In memory of Uščuplić, in agreement with his family, his former teammates and friends will play this exhibition and humanitarian match.

All funds from sponsors and tickets will be forwarded to the Fund for the Treatment of Ill Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the Association Pomozi.ba, which is also organizing this veterans' match. Additionally, the stands are planned to host all families whom the Association Pomozi.ba, together with Bosnians and Herzegovinians, has helped in treatment and recovery.
