Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup Semi-finals Replays: Sarajevo and Široki on the Verge of Reaching the Final

(Patria) - Today, the BiH Cup semi-final matches are scheduled. These are the return legs between TOŠK and Široki Brijeg, and Sarajevo and Sloga from Crnjelevo. Given that for the first time in the Cup semi-finals there are two clubs from lower leagues, who avoided each other in the draw, Premier League clubs have been the favourites from the start.

Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg played the final two-legged tie two years ago, and it would be a huge surprise if it wasn't the case this time either.

The 'Bordo' team won the first match against Sloga 4:1 as guests and took a step towards the final, while Široki will defend a 2:0 lead from Pecara today in their duel with TOŠK. The match will be played on neutral ground in Zenica. Široki is a big favourite to advance.

Two years ago in the Cup final, Široki was better than Sarajevo after a penalty shootout. Previously, both teams achieved a minimal 1:0 victory as guests. Today's matches are played from 4 PM.
