Rešidat discusses the "Modern and European Centar Municipality 2020" program with citizens in Ferhadija.

DF candidate for the mayor of Sarajevo's Centar municipality in the BiH Local Elections on October 2nd, Samer Rešidat, socialized with citizens in Ferhadija today, personally presenting his vision for the local community, writes Patria.

Rešidat is a young candidate with extensive managerial experience. He also served as the Minister of Culture and Sport in the Government of Sarajevo Canton.

Some pre-election analyses suggest that Rešidat is one of the most serious candidates to head the Centar municipality of Sarajevo after October 2nd.

This young and energetic man officially launched his campaign on Saturday at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was symbolic. Thanks to Rešidat's efforts, the Museum was opened a few months ago, after having been previously closed to the public.

In the program he has presented so far to hundreds of Sarajevans, Rešidat outlines his vision for how he plans to increase youth employment in the local community, how he plans to improve security, and how he will enhance education and culture in the Centar municipality.

"I will insist on expanding the budget item that will enable us to support the launch of businesses in the Centar Municipality on an annual basis. The people who will select the best projects will be top experts from various fields, not party members, in order to prevent corrupt activities," said Rešidat.

"The Municipality owns a large number of business premises that are empty. These premises are most expensive when no one is occupying them. I will address the Municipal Council with a request to provide all unused premises to young people starting their first business for only 1 KM," said Samer Rešidat, among other things, writes Patria.
