Rešidat: If we don't think about our children now, the problem will come back to haunt us like a boomerang

Samer Rešidat, one of the young candidates (DF) for mayor of Sarajevo's Centar municipality, said that the entire society must already get involved in protecting children and creating a better environment for their upbringing, because otherwise the problem could come back like a boomerang, NAP writes.

- Children are the concern of the entire society. Without investing in their safety and future, with such a decline in the birth rate in the country and the departure of young people from BiH, we will remain a society that, without young, intelligent minds, will only stagnate – Rešidat said on Friday evening, when he addressed citizens at a pre-election rally on Koševo.

- It is true that in the Koševo area, children play in parking lots and on the streets, or on green areas, because they have no other suitable place for that. This must change. Children need protected playgrounds where they can enjoy themselves and their parents can be sure that nothing bad will happen to them – Rešidat said.
