The World Sitting Volleyball Championship will be held from June 15 to 21 in the Polish city of Elblag. The BiH national team departs from Sarajevo Airport tomorrow in the afternoon hours.
In a statement for the BiH news agency Patria, national team member and Europe's best libero in 2013, Adnan Kešmer, said that he will give his all to bring back the gold that eluded them in 2010 when they lost to the Iranian national team in the United States of America.
Incidentally, at the World Championship, the BiH national team has so far won two gold medals and eight European champion titles. They won the last one last year, right in Elblag, and this team is the most decorated Bosnian-Herzegovinian sports collective with a total of 17 medals.
The national team members have completed three cycles of preparations in Fojnica and Međugorje, and are ready to fight for a medal. The ceremonial opening of the World Championship is on Saturday, June 14 at 5:00 PM, Patria reports.
