Draw between Velež and Željezničar

MOSTAR, (Patria) - The duel between old rivals Velež and Željezničar in the eighth round of the BHT PLBiH ended with a score of 1:1. Velež played a great first half. They were positioned excellently on the field and outplayed the guests from Sarajevo with their running game.

The first chance came in the 22nd minute when Fajić threatened, but the score remained 0:0. Fajić's chance was a prelude to a Velež 'onslaught' which was crowned in the 26th minute when Brandao scored for 1:0. Five minutes later, Brandao had another chance, as did Fajić. Željo had a half-chance through Zec. The teams went into halftime with the score at 1:0.

In the second half, the first excitement came in the 55th minute when Fajić's goal was disallowed. Five minutes later, Željo equalized, with Petar Bojo being the scorer. After Željo's goal, there was a chance for Behram, but the score remained 1:1.

In the 65th minute, Osmanković saved Željo after another attempt by Fajić. In the 82nd minute, Fajić received a red card, and Velež played the final part of the match with one player less. The score did not change until the end of the match, remaining 1:1.
