SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The meeting of the National Board of Remembering Srebrenica was held on Saturday, attended by representatives of eight regional boards, the chair of the Academic Board and BH UK Network, who gave an overview of the work and achievements in 2019.
It was positively assessed that in the past year, more than one thousand one hundred various events were held in the United Kingdom, making the UK a world leader in this regard, according to this organisation.
These numerous gatherings were attended by various figures from the worlds of politics, sports, and arts, each with a single task: to work on raising awareness, education, and building future peace, respect, and tolerance among all people regardless of origin, nationality, religion, gender, or social status.
In the second part of the session, plans for marking the 25th anniversary were discussed.
