Record 2,500 participants from 30 countries: Winners are Hungarian Barnava Bene and Slađana Perunović from Montenegro

Hungarian Barnabas Bene, with a time of 1:09:36, is the winner of the jubilee 10th Coca-Cola Sarajevo Half Marathon, while in the women's competition the fastest was Slađana Perunović from Montenegro with a time of 1:19:00, Patria reports.  

Last year's winner, who holds the record for the Sarajevo half marathon, Tamas Nagy, crossed the finish line 11 seconds behind his compatriot, while third was Bosnian competitor Srđan Samardžić (1:10:25).

Among women, second place went to Hungarian Tunde Szabo (1:20:43), and third place to Bosnian competitor Danijela Kuna (1:23:53). Osman Junuzović is once again the winner of the Novo Nordisk Fun Run 4-kilometer race, while in the women's competition the winner is Selma Zrnić.

A special curiosity is the fact that blind competitor Mustafa Mehić successfully completed his first half marathon. The G-Drive relay half marathon was held for the first time, in which the team Maraton Banja Luka was the fastest, while in the women's competition the team Pharma Maac-Ladies won. In the mixed competition of the G-Drive half marathon, the NIS team ran the fastest.

-We managed to create an event for the tenth jubilee time that made Sarajevo a city that promotes running and a healthy lifestyle, and every year it increasingly attracts the attention of competitors from all over the world, stated Erol Mujanović, director of the Marathon Association, who expressed special satisfaction and pride in his colleagues from the association, as well as all sponsors, volunteers, and of course the competitors who this year again managed to create an event in which many pushed their own limits and sent one of the most beautiful images of Sarajevo to the world.

In the Novo Nordisk Fun Run 4-kilometer race, after this year's winner Osman Junuzović, Atila Honti crossed the finish line as second, while Belmin Brkanović was third.

In the women's competition, Zukić was the fastest with a time. Second place went to Alma Hrnić, and the third time this year was achieved by Katarina Lemez.

-The Coca-Cola and G-Drive Half Marathon with 1,100 registered runners, the Novo Nordisk Fun Run race, as well as the “Nesquik Kid's Run” and “Run with me” races, gathered a record 2,500 participants from more than 30 countries on the streets of Sarajevo and made this sports event one of the most positive stories in Sarajevo, giving us the motivation to persevere in all our projects that have a humanitarian character and positive results in sports, tourism, and economic terms, concluded Mujanović, noting that three new races (Run with me, G-Drive relay half marathon, and Nesquik Kid's Run) will certainly contribute to even greater interest in this international event next year.
