Reisul-ulema sends condolences to Grand Imam of Al-Azhar over sister's death, visit to Sarajevo postponed

(Patria) - On the occasion of the passing of the sister of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Muhammed Ahmed Et-Tayeb, the Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein-ef. Kavazović, sent condolences to His Eminence, and the visit is cancelled until further notice.

"While we were expecting your arrival in Sarajevo, we received the sad news that your sister has passed away. On this occasion, I extend my deepest condolences to you.

The death of a loved one always causes a certain pain due to separation and evokes sadness. The death of a close person, especially if close by kinship, causes deep grief and leaves a void in the heart. The loss of a sister, on the other hand, deprives a person of great good and seems to take a part of them.

A sister is a special gift from God, and her loss cannot be compensated for by anything.

That is how it is in this world, which is essentially a world of separation. The other world is a world of reunion and meeting again. Moreover, it is better and eternal. Your sister has gone there.

I pray to Almighty Allah to forgive her sins and grant her beautiful Paradise, and that you may meet her again in a place where there will be no more death, nor sadness, nor pain. 'Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we will return,' reads the condolence message from Reisul-ulema Kavazović.

Given the death, the passing of the sister of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Muhammed Ahmed Et-Tayeb, his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for this week and all programs planned for this occasion are cancelled until further notice.
