Reisu-l-ulema at the opening of the mosque in Hamilton

CANADA, (Patria) - Reisu-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović is on an official visit with a delegation from the Riyaset to the Islamic Community of Bosniaks of North America in Canada, where in the city of Hamilton he will attend the ceremonial opening of the mosque and the Bosniak Islamic Center. The delegation from the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH also includes Razim Čolić, director of the Directorate for Foreign Affairs of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, and Rifat Fetić, head of the Office of the Reisu-l-ulema.

Last night, a Mevlud program was held at the mosque, and the central opening ceremony is scheduled for today with the presence of the Reisu-l-ulema, the delegation of the Riyaset, the mufti of ICNAB, Dr. Sabahudin Ćeman, numerous guests from the homeland and the diaspora, and representatives of the religious and political life of the city of Hamilton. A large number of believers from the Bosniak diaspora of Canada and North America are expected to attend the gathering.

Yesterday, at the newly built mosque, Reisu-l-ulema Kavazović led the Friday prayer (Jumu'ah) and delivered a sermon (khutbah).
