Reis Kavazović sends delegation to Islamic Community of Montenegro

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Today, under the chairmanship of Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazovića, the 26th regular session of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held.

The Riyaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina considered the current situation in Montenegro, and upon the proposal of the Reis-ul-ulema, will send a delegation that will visit the Islamic Community in Montenegro and the Muslims there in the coming days.

The draft Rulebook on the "Bejtu-l-mal" Fund, the proposal for the Rulebook on Amendments to the Rulebook on Mekteb and Mekteb Education, and the draft Rulebook on Religious Teachers were adopted, and sent for public discussion. An Organizing Committee for marking fifty years of continuous publication of IIN Preporod was also appointed.

The Protocol on the procedure of high schools in crisis situations caused by coronavirus and the proposal for the formation of a Council for monitoring the composition of teaching in the Islamic field, Arabic language, and educational work were adopted at the session.

The Report on the implementation of the public campaign "Srebrenica, we remember" was adopted.

The proposal for the Decision on giving consent to the Rulebook on Amendments and Additions to the Rulebook on Internal Organization and Systematization of Jobs in the Mufti's Office of Banja Luka was accepted. The Riyaset appointed members of the Management Board of the Center for Dialogue-Vesatijja and resolved the employment status of employees in the bodies and institutions of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
