Reis Kavazović Condemns Brutal Aggression in Gaza: It Is Not Too Late to Stop the New Spiral of Evil

(Patria) - Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazović strongly condemns the renewed brutal aggression against civilians in Gaza.

- When we hoped that peace for the people of Gaza was closer than ever and when we saw plans by Arab states for the reconstruction of life in Gaza and the establishment of lasting stability, we are witnessing a return to barbarism and the use of indiscriminate force that has today alone claimed hundreds of innocent lives.

It is not too late to stop the new spiral of evil and to achieve a continuation of the ceasefire as soon as possible, and ultimately a lasting peace agreement that is within reach - said the reisul-ulema.

He called on all responsible world leaders to contribute to achieving a just and lasting peace in Gaza and throughout Palestine.

- I pray to the Almighty God that in these blessed days of Ramadan He restrains people blinded by hatred and the desire for destruction and conflict, and encourages the ardent sons and daughters of Adam to take responsibility for building peace and preserving human life - said Reis Kavazović.
