Reis Kavazović pays tribute to the Organisational Committee for marking the 20th anniversary of the genocide

Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović pays tribute to the Organisational Committee for marking the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, led by Ćamil Duraković, the mayor of Srebrenica, who exerted maximum strength and effort to ensure that the gathering in Srebrenica proceeded with respect for the victims of the genocide and that the funeral and burial were carried out in a dignified manner. Organising such a gathering, attended by around 60,000 guests, was by no means an easy task, reports the Patria news agency.

Reisu-l-ulema particularly highlights the hospitality of the Mothers of Srebrenica who, despite their deep grief for their loved ones, found the strength to show calmness, hospitality, and the ability to open the future to a new life, reports MINA.
