Reis Kavazović congratulates Hanukkah

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Jewish Community in BiH, Jakob Finci, on the occasion of the great Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.

"On behalf of myself and the members of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I wish to congratulate you and all Jews in the homeland and around the world on the holiday of Hanukkah. I wish you to spend this Festival of Lights with your loved ones in happiness and peace. In the hope that the light shining from the menorahs into your homes will illuminate the path to a better and more just future not only for the Children of Israel but for all good descendants of Adam, I congratulate you on this great holiday with the words - Hag Hanuka Sameah," states the announcement from the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović.
