Referendum: Dodik argued with opposition MPs, what will happen today

MPs of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska will continue the special session today to discuss the reactivation of the decision to call a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.

It didn't take long to wait for yesterday's discussion in the National Assembly to move away from the referendum. It opened after Vukota Govedarica's discussion, who told Milorad Dodik that he was buying time for his policy, which had created misery in Republika Srpska, by talking about the referendum.

Milorad Dodik took Vukota Govedarica's accusation that he was behaving like a thug instead of a president personally, and told Govedarica from the podium that no one would insult his family.

He said that due to constant attacks he endures, his son has been unemployed for a year. He did not spare words, telling the head of the SDS parliamentary group that Naser Orić is a friend of his party. At one point, he even threatened elections, assuring that the SDS would suffer a debacle. After arguments and shouting, he did not stop for journalists, but the other participant in the discussion did.

The rest of the opposition stood by SDS's Vukota Govedarica. They condemned Milorad Dodik's behavior, which they claim did not surprise them. But the silence of all the ruling MPs did. They particularly blamed the Speaker of the Assembly, Nedeljko Čubrilović, because Milorad Dodik was allowed such behavior, ATV reported.
