Real Madrid is interested in signing Asmir Begović, British media reported this morning, according to the BiH news agency Patria (NAP). The management of the club where Stoke City currently plays does not want to let Begović go for less than 15 million pounds, considering that they believe Begović is one of the best goalkeepers in the club's history.
However, numerous clubs have shown interest before, but, as the newspaper "Stoke Sentinel" points out, Real Madrid is the most prepared to realize the transfer. They state that Begović might be sad, because despite the excellent performances of the BiH national team, they did not continue their competition at the World Cup.
Real's current coach Carlo Ancelotti has long wanted to sign Begović and tried to do so twice while he was the coach of Chelsea, but he did not succeed.
- Stoke officials are not looking for a buyer for Begović, but if the right offer comes, they will not stop him - the newspaper states, reports NAP.
