Real Madrid for the third year in a row and despite huge debts, is the most valuable sports club in the world, estimated at 3.26 billion dollars, according to the list by financial magazine Forbes. In 2014, Real was in debt of 773 million dollars, reports the Patria News Agency.
Barcelona ranks fourth with a value of 3.16 billion dollars. In second place is the American football club Dallas Cowboys, and in third place is the baseball team New York Yankees, both estimated at 3.2 billion dollars.
Forbes magazine has been compiling the list of the 50 most valuable clubs since 1998.
