(Patria) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office, specifically the acting prosecutor Biljana Golijanin, has issued an order to close the investigation against Bakir Izetbegović, Reuf Bajrović, and Emir Suljagić, who were previously reported for inciting national, racial, and religious hatred.
They were reported by Slaven Raguž on August 1, 2022. Bajrović, Izetbegović, and Suljagić were summoned to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) to give statements regarding the report.
Suljagić reacted to the decision made by the BiH Prosecutor's Office. He is the current Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
"As for this, the question now is who will compensate me and how for being publicly tarnished and defamed due to the prosecution's completely frivolous decision to open an investigation? The report could have been dismissed just as easily without public humiliation and a summons for questioning," Suljagić stated.

At the end of the notice on the closure of the investigation, prosecutor Golijanin states that the Prosecutor's Office may reopen the investigation if it receives new facts and circumstances indicating grounds for suspicion that a criminal offense has been committed.
